I am Aaron Martinez - filmmaker, father, fatally optimistic, force of positive energy to be reckoned with.
After 8 years in Europe, I am back in the USA to express my directorial voice. Searching for the beauty in our darkest days, my films are stylized, whimsical, and chock-full of undying love and resounding hope for a brighter future.
I have studied both experimental filmmaking under Stan Brakhage and narrative storytelling at the American Film Institute Conservatory.
My work has donned laurels from the Directors Guild of America, American Society of Cinematographers, Hamptons International Film Festival, and a nomination for the Student Academy Award.
